Up-to-date: Travel outside Bulgaria under Covid-19 conditions
The situation with the spread of Covid-19 on travel restrictions abroad. See how some countries have changed the regime of entry of foreign nationals into their territory:
India put Bulgaria on the list of countries at risk for Covid-19. As of November 9, The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India includes a country in the list of “Category A” countries with the risks of international passengers entering the pandemic.
Fully vaccinated passengers from Bulgaria (after 15 days from the end of their vaccination cycle) should complete online declaration on the portal of the airport of landing up to 72 hours before departure. You must attach a negative result to PCR test, as well as a vaccination certificate. For 14 days after their onset, individuals are required to self-monitor for signs of Covid-19.
Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated against Covid-19 passengers from Bulgaria must fill out online declaration on the airport portal within 72 hours before the trip and attach to it a negative result of PCR test. The PCR test should be performed on the test performed in India. He then goes through the mandatory 7-day home quarantine, at the end of which follows another sample for PCR test (spend on the tests at the expense of the passenger). In case the result is negative, it should be self-monitored for the next 7 days.
Cuba announced it would loosen restrictive measures on foreigners from 15 November. From these data, vaccinated tourists will be exempted from the obligation to present a negative PCR test in the assessment of the island. To do this, you must present a valid vaccination certificate.
Foreigners who have not been vaccinated to show a negative PCR test no more than 72 hours before the trip to Cuba. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from vaccination or PCR test. In addition, all others on the island remain subject to mandatory quarantine unless they become infected with Covid-19 during their journey. Authorities have warned that diagnostic tests will be carried out at airports on a case-by-case basis. If the passenger gives a positive result, he will be transferred to a special hotel-hospital or tourist facility authorized by the government for isolation and medical care.
The easing of the entry regime in Cuba was due to a successful national mass vaccination campaign, based on home-made vaccines and a significant reduction in virus infection.
Japan continues to loosen restrictions on foreigners, but said it has no plans to open its borders to tourists. The new trainings are aimed at businessmen, students and technical interns. This category of passengers can now obtain a visa and enter the country, TASS reported.
Businessmen are now allowed short trips to Japan for up to three months. Upon completion of the vaccination course, their quarantine period is reduced from 10 to 3 days. On the third day, a test for coronavirus must be performed and if it is negative, it is free to move around the country, but in accordance with a plan prepared in advance by the host company or organization. Businessmen arriving from abroad who have not been vaccinated with a preparation approved by the local authorities are placed under a 14-day quarantine.International students and trainees must spend at least 10 days in solitary confinement if they are vaccinated with an approved preparation. Otherwise, their quarantine lasts 14 days.
The Japanese authorities intend to increase the daily limit for foreigners admitted to the country from 3,500 to 5,000.
