Montreal, Budapest: Lyon-Saint Exupéry expands its post-pandemic network for the end-of-year celebrations
It was announced, it will be effective on December 11.
After relaunching long-haul flights to Dubai, Reunion, Dakar and Moscow, in particular, Montreal will be the next connection to be re-established at Lyon-Saint Exuppéry, after the big diet due to the pandemic.
Air Canada will restart its connection between Lyon and Montreal, started in June 2016 and therefore suspended with the crisis.
The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region is therefore once again connected to the American continent, by its only non-stop line depending on France and North America.

Departing from its Lyon-Saint Exupéry base, the low-cost subsidiary of the Air France group, currently in full expansion, will thus offer from December 12 until next January six rotations to Budapest-Ferenc airport. Liszt, partners in Boeing 737-800 with 189 seats.
These flights are scheduled on 12/16, 12/19, 12/23, 12/26, 12/30 and 01/02/2022, the one-way ticket being offered from 28 euros including tax.
The low cost will also extend its route between Lyon and Oujda-Angads during the same period, with departures on 18/12, 22/12, 25/12, 29/12 and 01/01 (flights from 44 euros one way).
Finally, Transavia is strengthening its program of flights from Lyon airport for the end of year celebrations to Agadir, Beirut, Djerba, Monastir, Porto, Marrakech, Tel Aviv and Tunis: 32 destinations are now displayed on departure from Saint -Exupéry.
The most responsive companies will be those that do best in the post-pandemic aerial game.
