Finally, certainly not in order of importance, this edition will also open its arms to solidarity: in fact, there will be a stand organized by the association ‘Andrea’s smile‘(http://www.ilsorrisodiandrea.org/), the charity created to remember Andrea Baldini, the boy who died prematurely in March 2020 following an exhausting fight against a rare tumor. During the event it will be possible to buy artisan panettone made by the Fratelli Sbrana pastry shop in San Giuliano Terme and the proceeds from the sales will be entirely dedicated to the purchase of Christmas gifts for the little patients of the AOUP Pediatric Oncology Department where Andrea also fought his battle.
“An opportunity to restart. We talk about taste understood in all its nuances – intervenes the president of CNA PISA Francesco Oppedisano – taste for the enhancement of the territory, of excellence, of local producers and artisans and, last but not least, of solidarity. Thanks to this opportunity we discover, even more strongly, the relationship between the city and the local companies, a relationship to be cared for and cultivated frequently. And this is precisely one of CNA’s mission: to create experiential tourism, not only food but also artistic craftsmanship. Pisa and Tuscany are not only monuments but also all-round excellences. we have to avoid a hit and run tourism and create virtuous and long-lasting ties that bring affluence and value to our territory “.
