Hockey boys with new Norwegian loss in Denmark – Dagsavisen
The loss was Norway’s second in a few days. Petter Thoresen’s young team played 0-3 against Latvia in the same hall on Thursday.
Most of the players in the Norway squad are in the domestic elite series on a daily basis and have had a chance to show themselves during the national team gathering in Denmark.
There were no goals in the first period, but early in the second Norway took the lead by Gustav Borvik. He scored just as Denmark becomes full after a showing of two minutes.
The lead lasted for four minutes. The Danes equalized in overtime after the aforementioned Borvik had a trip in the expulsion box.
Christopher Frederiksen gave the hosts 2-1 just before the middle period came towards the end, and in the third period Christian Wejse scored his second goal of the evening.
