Genoa, shop turns into a bar without having a license: closed due to poor hygiene
The operation of the local police with the Asl3 born from the reports of the residents
Genoa – A shop in via San Donà del Piave, in the Genoese quarter of Rivarolo, operated as a bar but the owner was in possession of the only license for neighborhood operation. The circumstance was reported by citizens to the ASL 3.
During a joint intervention with the men of the Commerce unit of the urban security department of the local police, the lack of a license to carry out the administration was ascertained despite the place was equipped as a bar, with tables and chairs, coffee machine, counter display case for brioches, price list and outdoor terrace. For this the owner was fined 5 thousand euros.
On the health and hygiene front, the ASL staff noted poor hygienic conditions, especially behind the counter, toilet in dilapidated condition and lacking hot water, hand soap and towels. For these and other shortcomings, the local health authorities have ordered the technicians’immediate closure of the business, up to the elimination of non-conformities.
