The weather in our territory has been stable for several days, and there is no indication that anything should change in the foreseeable future. Cloudy and foggy weather without precipitation is still to be expected.

Autumn weather is characterized by the fact that it is stable, but it is not very pleasant. If the weather is under the influence of a high air pressure area, the inverse nature of the weather often prevails during this period.

This means that while the weather in the lower parts is mostly cloudy and foggy, the mountains are mostly sunny.

This type of weather awaits us during the weekend and the following days. During the weekend, however, there will be significantly more fog. At the beginning of the week, fog and low clouds may no longer last all day and may clear even in lower altitudes.

The weekend will be gloomy

During the weekend, the weather in our territory will be affected by the pressure altitude, which will extend into our area from the east. On Saturday, mostly cloudy to cloudy and foggy weather is expected in several places. On Sunday, foggy weather is expected especially in western and eastern Slovakia, while in central Slovakia the clouds may also decrease.

The inversion will have a significant effect on the temperature. While during the night temperatures in Slovakia will fall to +4 to -1 ° C, in the valleys and valleys they will be even colder and temperatures can fall below -3 ° C.

During the day, the temperature in our territory climbs to +4 to +10 ° C. Only in places, inversion occurs even in lower positions, when rays appear, which can reach a temperature even above +10 ° C.

More sun from Monday

At the beginning of the week, the current nature of the weather should continue in our territory. However, more sunlight will appear in the lower positions.

During the week, another pressure altitude should move from Slovakia to the east to the east, which will bring sunny weather without precipitation.

If you are waiting for the arrival of precipitation and possibly the first snowflakes, then they are expected somewhere after November 22.
