For the Prague Band Music, or rather its protagonists, the album called Colorful Dreams is paradoxically a debut album. After the break-up of the original band Hudba Praha, the new form recorded its first album this year and is releasing it on CD, LP and digital services.

In 2015, the group Hudba Praha split into two parts. Guitarist Vladimír Zatloukal, together with several other original members of Music Prague, including his younger brother Bohumil Zatloukal, founded the Music Prague Band. The brothers Zatloukala and Jiří Jelínek are joined by Jamajka Koblicová and Daniela Litváková-Čelková from the aforementioned original band, as well as frontman Zdeněk Hnyk, Tomáš Stloukal and Jakub Douda.

The album included news that had been created in the past two years, as well as two songs that fans already knew in concert (dreams and Someone goes flat), and two “levers” that were never recorded in the studio. and Darling).

“Arranging and devising the order so that it all makes sense is a bit of a Rubik’s cube. In the end, I hope everything worked out and nothing disturbs us when we listen. The alternation of all possible musical positions is sometimes surprising. And that’s exactly what we wanted, “ describes the preparation of the album Bohumil Zatloukal.

All songs are original and their authors are members of a band with an undeniable creative predominance of the Zatloukal brothers. “We wanted to record an author’s album in order to break free from the playlist of old Music Prague and show that we are able to create seeds with its atmosphere, but of course also in a different way. Most of the band members can compose songs with us and more new ones are already emerging, “ Vladimír Zatloukal comments on the work of the group and adds: “We filmed at the Petr Janda Abyss Studio, which met our needs in all respects. Sound master Petr Kovanda has the largest share in the overall sound and the mastering was done by Oldřich Slezák. “

The album is, as the name suggests, very colorful in theme and genre – hard rock songs alternate with fine rock ballads.

The author of the artistic design of the cover is the painter, illustrator and graphic artist Karel Haloun, its overall appearance is the result of the work of his 3rd workshop studio.

The launch of the album will take place in the Prague club Vagón on December 17.
