memorandum of understanding between San Marino and Brazil to encourage tourism
Encourage the flow of tourists between San Marino and the Brazil. The Secretary of State Federico Pedini Amati and the Brazilian Minister for Tourism, Gilson Machado, signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen the image and promote travel in their respective countries. Unspoiled nature on the one hand, Brazil has one of the richest ecosystems on Earth, history, culture and ancient traditions on the other.
“Brazil, – Machado declares – after the pandemic, is one of the best destinations in the world for outdoor tourism. We have one very rich nature, with six different ecosystems and a focus on sustainability. Brazil is the largest country in the world when it comes to nature conservation. With this agreement we intend to promote our two countries mutually. Everything about San Marino is welcome in Brazil ”. The agreement therefore provides for a series of initiatives, which will be defined in detail and implemented as early as the next few months. “We want to put in place an agreement, – declares the Secretary for Tourism – already underway, so that the Brazilian inhabitants can visit the Republic of San Marino and the citizens of San Marino can go to Brazil with some concessions”.
Long-standing relationships and connections between San Marino and Brazil, where there is still a large San Marino community. Filippo Francini, Ambassador of San Marino in Brazil and General Commissioner ad Expo 2020 Dubai Also visiting the San Marino Pavilion this morning Marcela Gonzales Salas, MP and member of the Mexico Department of Tourism: together with the Secretary of State Federico Pedini Amati, have laid the foundations for starting a collaboration between the two countries, with the aim of promoting tourism and their respective territories.
