Brazilian Youtuber anticipated to JN that, in 2022, episodes on YouTube will be dubbed into several languages, including Portuguese from Portugal.

After a report published by Diário de Notícias called the attention of the Brazilian public for claiming that there is Portuguese children who “only speak Brazilian”, partly due to the youtuber Luccas Neto, the artist has now anticipated to JN what he says is a novelty that was only expected to be announced next year.

“In accordance with the great repercussion of the articles on the influence of content on the language of Portuguese children and the enormous affection he has for the country’s fans (…) for next year, the company will double all our episodes on YouTube, in addition to movies and series”, revealed to JN the Brazilian youtuber, who on that video platform alone has more than 36 million subscribers.

“We want to double in languages: English, Spanish, Hindi and Portuguese from Portugal. This type of investment in dubbing in the Portuguese language has never been made by any Brazilian company focused on children; therefore, I will be the first!”, he added.

To JN, he also downplayed any controversy and underlined the “giant love for Portugal”: “My family is Portuguese, I was raised by my grandmother and I am also a Portuguese citizen. After my time in Lisbon, I can say that my love for the country is only increased. “

It should be remembered that the artist was in Lisbon last weekend with the show “Luccas Neto e A Escola de Aventureiros”, with three complete sold outs. Four periods are still planned in Guimarães next week.
