Note of intent
“RONDÒ FINAL – have the authors – is a film of obsessive research that we define as ‘montage’. A film that is the result of a long collective process, made up of successive re-appropriations. A poetic reflection on the gaze, on images, through a ritual in which hierarchies and power relationships are often inscribed by means of aesthetic staging. A hypnotic journey that questions the very production of the image and the space it occupies in the living, which takes the form of the rite that returns, repeating and re-founding time each time.
A roundabout, then, which, far from affirming the circularity of history, unravels in a spiral, freeing itself at each turn in multiple drifts, in the explosion of gazes that come and go from the images “.
