The first end of the Fieracavalli has been archived, which among 200 events proposed the Longines Fei World Cup of national jumps and competitions in the Fise Arena as a sporting highlight, the Veronese review repeats from today to Sunday with three days dedicated to the world of western riding, to the Iberian horses and to the “son of the wind”, that is the Arab horse, the improver of every breed existing today. In the first appointment, the Veronese kermesse did not only show sports, but also various aspects and sectors of the horse world, such as the Italian native breeds, the equestrian theater, the auctions of Italian subjects (“top price” sold at 40 thousand euros), as well as the usual well-assorted commercial sector that showcased the best products from all sectors: saddlery, harnesses, equipment for stables, both technical and leisure clothing for the rider. In short, Verona, in spite of the two-year lockdown and the current constraints, showed a very lively breeding and sporting world with a great desire to recover. From today Fieracavalli are on duty in western riding with the Italian championships, the specialties of Team Penning and Ranch Sorting, then the Quarter-Horses, Appaloosa, Paint and Quarab breeds, engaged in morphology competitions. “Caliente”, as always, promises to be the sector of Iberian horses (pictured), Andalusian and Lusitanian, with their overwhelming beauty and energy – often the inspiration of art – engaged in classical taming, vaquera taming, dressage and high school, between music and phantasmagorical choreography. Finally, the European championship of the Arabian horse, the king of long distances, in Verona engaged in morphology reviews. At the Arena Fise the Mariuccia Grandinetti Trophy, with the National Pony Show and the Top Ambassador (category of show jumping reserved for over “… anta”). The activities of the “family” area will also continue with the baptism of the saddle for children, artistic-didactic workshops, dedicated to the approach with proud horses and tender donkeys.
