The Stars’n’Bars restaurant, awarded for its anti-waste campaign – The famous Monegasque establishment received the “National Energy Globe Award” for its participation in the European Week for Waste Reduction 2020. This award was announced on Monday 8 November, on the occasion of the COP26 world climate summit in Glasgow. A prize that rewards the creation of seven original posters, to encourage the inhabitants of Monaco to reduce waste in their daily life in a humorous way.

Commemoration of November 11 in the Principality – The Maison de France and its Secretary General Pierre Brière welcomed several personalities this Thursday to commemorate the Armistice of November 11, 1918. Although Monaco did not take part in the First World War, Prince Louis had everything likewise voluntarily engaged in the French army in 1914. The President of the Federation of French Groupings of Monaco, Danielle Merlino, recalled the importance of this commemoration, while warning against the problems facing the world currently facing, such as global warming. The French Ambassador to Monaco, Laurent Stéfanini, also paid tribute to the Monegasque volunteers who got involved in the conflict, despite the Principality’s neutrality.
Alexandre Bubbio takes the reins of IMSEE – It was following the departure of Sophie Vincent, who is now director of human resources at the Société des Bains de Mer, that her deputy Alexandre Bubbio took over the orders of the Institute, appointed by sovereign ordinance published in Monaco Journal. Since 2013, Alexandre Bubbio was head of division within IMSEE.
The Monaco Scientific Center will soon join an international network of virologists – The Monaco Scientific Center (CSM) will host an international symposium on December 2 and 3, alongside other major institutions, such as the Prince Albert II Foundation. Six themes will be developed during the debates, all linked to the health crisis. Institutions likely to discuss their experience in virus screening.
