It will be done in two stages: from November 29, the second lane in the Paris-Cherbourg direction will be reopened to traffic and the ban on vehicles over 3.5 T will be lifted in both directions.
On Friday, December 10, the second lane in the Cherbourg-Paris direction, kept closed to allow the completion of the work and the dismantling of the site facilities, will also be reopened to traffic.
For several months, the structure had been banned from traffic for vehicles over 3.5 T. The complete return to service of the viaduct, initially scheduled for November 15, was somewhat delayed due to additional surveys. to identify the positioning of certain cables in the structure. and to rehabilitate the scaffolding after the passage of the Aurora storm.
