There will be a big event in Prague, at the end of which there will be 600 new public transport stops. Psteky has been operated by the French company JCDecaux since 1994, in return for which it was able to place advertisements on its own mobile phones. However, Prague called the contract unsuitable and decided to replace the fives with its own. The metropolis wants to appoint a city transport company (DPP) as their new operator. However, the installation of the stops is in charge of the city company, Technology of the Capital City of Prague (THMP).
What does it look like with a public transport ticket?
By the end of the year, there should be about forty new stops. The first exchanges take place during November and December, ie of course if the climatic conditions allow construction activity. Some constructions start this week. And it’s not just a change of fists that will arise where new tram lines will be built. They darken on them, making sure that all catches are automatically obscured. Thus, on the basis of the requirements of the city council will place a place where the two were not.
How long will it take to change all stops?
The event with the exchange of more than 600 stops lasted less than two years, with the fact that it should be about 200 points. Each stage is evenly distributed to the customs of Prague.
Will all the new posts look the same as the designs that have long been available at Palacký Street?
It could be, yes. After the prototype, we made about a dozen design changes that do not interfere with the design. This is, for example, a change made to the additional door for the electricity meter and gave details. The stops will really look like the patterns on Palack’s nmst. The image has spread in the past management of the city and the author of the design is Studio Olgoj Chorchoj. But most of the stops will have a new electrical connection. In cities where there will be a panel with departure times, a navigator will be able to place a light for the blind. Otherwise, it is necessary to respect the architectural design, which emerged from the competition.
And what material will the strips be made of? Are there any shortages of raw materials in them?
The supporting structure is made of steel, there are aluminum elements especially in the area of boxes for displays and electronics. There are also structural elements made of clay. And that’s why they don’t corrode. The glass is safe and will break any damage. dn of materials no shortcomings.

The main reason why the city decided to end the cooperation under the original contract from 1994 was that in the field of advertising use Prague wanted to achieve a significant reduction in advertising smog and so it wanted a suitable business model of advertising sales. And for that reason, she decided to invest in the new mobility and get the funds from it. The investment in stoppages should have a return of about a dozen years thanks to a more suitable sale of advertising.

Get away from all free-standing advertising phones. The liquidation should start in December and end in the burrow. JCDecaux is obliged to restore all cities to their original state. At this time, the company even has an exception to winter surface repairs, so that it can work freely in December and in the Norwegian. We will replace citylights with LED screens. You will appreciate the advertising revenue, because digital advertising on the screens is very tax and valuable than the classic plaques backlit by a resin. This space will be for cultural and social events. Displays can also be worn in crisis women. And in the event of any unforeseen event, there will be a link to information citizens. Will the screen be on any new device?
Advertising spaces will be only in the previously selected places and we will not spread the number of advertising spaces, it will always be just a replacement of the old plaque. The ads will only be in places where there are a large number of people. These are, for example, stops with a change to the metro. It is thus the center of the city, where advertisements on the outposts will be a payment for canceled citylights.
When did you change the center as an opinion on new posts?
They have been involved in the project since the arrest, the design was consulted with them. From the point of view of advertising, we can use de facto piece by piece. The displays will be backlit by variable diagnostics. Digital advertising will be muted in public and non-business hours, or it will not be lit at all. We will go to modify the conditions itself. So far, the regulation of Prague was related specifically to classic billboards, and the rules of digital advertising will have to be supplemented. But since it will take several months, no advertising will appear in any of them, so the legislative right will reach you.
What will the new advertisement look like and how will it differ from the original one of the JCDecaux?
According to the political decision, the future operator of the urban mobility will be the crack transport company (DPP, editor’s note). And he will prepare a new competition for advertising. Until this competition takes place, the temporary emblem of the capital will probably be visible at the grounds. The DPP will take care of the washing and gossip. For THMP, the entire project will end with the construction and front of new stops, including overpaid debts to the transport company. After building the pstek, we will keep their gossip only until their moment, then it will take about a few months.
