Man Utd LIVE News: Keane for Rashford, Greenwood and Sancho, Kounde-Cavani exchange, Kessie FREE transfer
MORNING, MAN UTD FANS
Manchester United captain Harry Maguire thought he would shut up the suspects at Wembley Stadium last night.
The defender has been under criticism in recent weeks, with his appearances being less than satisfactory since he returned from injury.
He made England the perfect start last night, shaking Reece James’ head from the free kick after just nine minutes.
Maguire closed his ears to the controversy, but drew the wrath of United legend Roy Keane.
Despite the Three Lions being 5-0 up in the first half, Keano decided to focus on the Maguire celebration.
The itv expert said: “He thinks he is silencing critics. But I think it ‘s embarrassing.
“It’s been a shame for Man Utd for the last two months.
“He thinks that if he scores there, he will shut up his critics. Shy.”
Meanwhile, Keane also feels that something is wrong with Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.
He added: “Every case is different, Sancho has not taken many minutes lately.
“The issue I’m thinking with Rashford and Greenwood is that whenever they are resolved it seems to be a problem.
“I know they have had injuries, I understand that, but we know their quality and when Gareth is asked about them he says ‘yes, I talked to Marcus…’ It seems like a big conversation.
“It’s like something is wrong, something is wrong with some of these United guys.”
