Jérôme Junod is the new director and chief dramaturge at the Schauspielhaus Salzburg.
The Schauspielhaus Salzburg has attracted an extraordinary theater maker: Jérôme Junod has been the director and chief dramaturge since September; and his most recent own play, “Arthur, the Last Battle”, premiered on Thursday evening.
“It is a great enrichment for the Salzburg theater landscape”, assures Artistic Director Robert Pienz. The 42-year-old studied philosophy, is a trained concert pianist and has graduated from the Max Reinhardt Seminar, where he taught directing for the past ten years.
