Is this the “return match” of a case started the day before, at Mirail? Tuesday, November 9, 2021, around 11 p.m. on Left bank police station located in the Bellefontaine district, in Toulouse, was the target of mortar fire.
A “free attack”
It’s the Alliance police union which reveals it this morning, reporting a ” free attack on the front door of the police station. No injuries, no material damage to deplore (and) no arrests to date ”.
Alliance Police Nationale is once again protesting the rise in violence against the police. We cannot accept that our colleagues are again targeted by people wanting to dictate ‘their law’.
Did this mortar fire have a link with the arrest of a 16 year old scooter rider arrested on Monday? At around 9 p.m., the police were alerted to possible installation of barricades by groups of young people at Mirail.
The scooter rider rushes at the officials
When they arrived there, they had tried to control two scooter pilots. According to an official police source, one of them had not hesitated to rush on the officials to facilitate his escape.
The latter then had worn out their tear gas canister to make it deviate from its trajectory and stop it. “Already known to the police”, this 16-year-old young man was taken into custody for “Refuse to comply” and “Violence with a weapon by destination”, in this case, the scooter.
For now, no official link has been established between these two facts.
