The Bellefontaine police station, in the Mirail district in Toulouse, was the target of a mortar fire on Tuesday evening around 11 p.m. The police officers who are in the premises and in the parking lot were not injured.
Tuesday evening, November 9, at 11:00 p.m., the Mirail police station, located in the Bellefontaine district, was the subject of a mortar attack on the entrance gate. The police officers present were not injured and there was no material damage. According to the police officers contacted on Wednesday, there was no arrest.
In a press release, the Alliance Police Nationale union specifies:
Alliance protests once again at the increase in violence against the police. We cannot accept that our colleagues are again a target by these people wanting to dictate “Their Law”.
The union representative, contacted by phone, regrets the increase in this type of attack. He remains vigilant on the follow-up given to these attacks and calls on the representatives of the Administration on the real threat made to his colleagues on a daily basis.
