Realme releases Google TV stick in the Netherlands for 55 and 70 euros – Image and sound – News
Realme has informed Android Planet via a statement that the Realme 4K TV Stick with Google TV as the operating system will also come to the Netherlands. There are two versions: the Realme TV Stick 2K and the Realme TV Stick 4K, with prices of 55 and 70 euros in mind.
The representative of Realme let Android Planet know that the company is aiming for a December release, but an exact release date is not given. The difference between the two versions is already in the name, with resolutions up to 2k and 4k being supported. Meanwhile, the company has already started simple sales of this concurrent of Google’s Chromecast. The Realme stick is already available in India.
The Realme stick, like the latest Chromecast, has Google TV as its operating system and interface. are supported by YouTube, Netflix and Amazon Prime, among others; the included control also has specific obligations for these services.
There is a micro USB connection, an HDMI connection with and support for WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0. According to Realme, there is HDMI 2.1 support, but how that manifests itself is not entirely clear, information about the company also makes it clear that 4k60 is supported as maximum content; that is still within the HDMI 2.0 bandwidth.
