Good examples in biodiversity protection are presented at the conference in Prague
Experts will present examples of good practice in biodiversity protection at an international conference launched at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. The Global Biodiversity Conservation Conference (GBCC) is represented by two virologists, biologists, conservationists and legislative experts. The program will be a good place. Daniel Ingram from the British University of Stirling, for example, spoke at the conference about the problem of hunting, eating and trading with forest meat. Elmar Fiening from the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EAZA) will talk today about the role of zoos in protecting biodiversity.
“We are trying to bring together not only the leaders, but also the government sector, the business sector and non-profit organizations. This also means practical protection,” said TK conference coordinator Maty Adam. “Let’s not say who joined us, but we invite selected spokesmen, we regularly cooperate with them somewhere abroad. And it’s Canada, Africa and Southeast Asia,” he added. According to the coordinator, leton ronk also reflects the covid-19 pandemic and its effects.
The aim of the event is to show the best treasures in the protection of sales, researching what produces warms, and the future necessary steps and insights of experts. The program covers both climate and legislative issues, as well as the issues of wildlife trade and working with local communities in different countries.

The conference is organized by the Czech Coalition for Biodiversity Protection and the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague with the support of zoos in Liberec, Olomouc, Ostrava, Prague and the crack of the botanical garden.
