She explained that the national average level of herd immunity to coronavirus is 48.4 percent.
To achieve a herd immunity of 80 percent, it is necessary to vaccinate about 22 million people and revaccinate about 9 million people, said the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.
Golikova, at a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of the Council, also noted that the Republic of Tyva, the Moscow Region, Karelia, Moscow, Sevastopol and St. Petersburg are leading in terms of collective immunity from coronavirus.
Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia said that in some regions there are not enough drugs to treat the most serious complication of COVID-19 – a cytokine storm.
