Corona slowed down the Salzburg globetrotter Joe Pichler for a year and a half. Now he is setting off for South America without knowing which borders are open.

When Josef “Joe” Pichler gets on the plane in Frankfurt on Saturday, he does it quite haphazardly for his circumstances. Because apart from his flight destination – the Colombian capital Bogotá – he doesn’t really know how his trip to South America will ultimately go.
