a nice program to discover until Sunday
Organized every two years in November, the Toulouse Salon was fortunate not to be jostled by the Covid. The last edition took place just before the start of the pandemic and that of 2021 was not questioned or postponed. It has just opened its doors this Wednesday. Toulouse is thus the first major auto show organized in France since the start of the health crisis!
The event retains its deliberately simple, human-sized trade show format, with small stands without grandiose decor. An economic formula that appeals to brands: while more and more manufacturers no longer come to major shows, they are almost all present in Toulouse. The advantage for them is also to be in direct contact with customers, who can test the vehicles on the spot.
And the 2021 program is of high quality, since several big stars of 2022 are exhibited in preview in Toulouse. Visitors can approach the Citroën C5 X, the new herringbone wagon, a mix of sedan and station wagon. Dacia came with the Jogger, its adventurer can accommodate up to 7 people. On the Volkswagen side, there is a French premiere of the Taigo, the small cut SUV. Nissan exhibits the Ariya, its electric SUV, Lexus came with the restyled ES. It is also an opportunity to discover in one place the new products that have just been launched: DS 4, Kia EV6, Peugeot 308, Skoda Fabia, Toyota Yaris Cross.
Visitors will benefit from a used space, convenient for those who want a model available quickly, as the shortage of semiconductors lengthens the delivery times of the new one. There is also space for two-wheelers.
The show is open until Sunday November 14, a good idea to go out on this November 11 bridge. The advantage of the simplified formula is an accessible entry ticket: € 6.50.
