Two people refused a place in the emerging government, they are far from Moravia to Prague
The first vice-president of the People’s Party and senator Šárka Jelínková announced on Twitter that due to her family she could not perform the functions of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in the Together and Pirates with STAN government. The senator from Bystřice pod Hostýnem in the Kroměříž region thanked her for the support she received as a possible candidate. According to information from the daily Echo24, the key ministry wants to be filled by the People’s Chairman Marian Jurečka himself. Petr Hladík, a Brno councilor and vice-chairman of the KDU-ČSL, explained with similar arguments as Jelínková on Monday why she would not hold the position of head of the Ministry of the Environment.
Jelínková wrote that she was referred to as a possible Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, but she did not strive for this contribution at all costs. “I have a family that was almost 300 kilometers from my daily work in Prague. My family is important to me. If I became a minister, I know I would not be able to give this role the maximum it requires. I think it’s perfectly okay to say straight, “she said.
He sees his place in the Senate, where he will have plenty of opportunities to influence family life in the Czech Republic for the better.
why? I have a family that was almost 300 kilometers from my daily work in Prague. My family is important to me. If I became a minister, I know I would not be able to give this role the maximum it requires. I think it’s perfectly okay to say straight.

According to Echo24, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs should eventually lead the party’s chairman Marian Jurečka. He was originally seen at the Ministry of Agriculture. He already made the contribution between 2014 and 2017 in the government of Bohuslav Sobotka (CSSD).
Petr Hladík also refused the ministry because of his family
Petr Hladík, a councilor and vice-chairman of KDU-ČSL, said on Facebook on Monday that his family came first. It was originally intended to be held by the Ministry of the Environment. “He no longer spends as much time as he would like at the work of the Brno councilor and deputy mayor, wife and five children,” he described his reasons. At the same time, he indicated that the People’s Party has another candidate for this position in the government of the Spolu coalition (ODS, TOP 09, KDU-ČSL) and Pirates and STAN. According to him, the specific names of the People’s Party will soon be introduced.
I LOVE MY FAMILY AND I LOVE BRNO.❤️
And that’s why I can’t go to Prague now and be Minister of the Environment, even though I got the offer.
I know I’ll disappoint some of you, but maybe you’ll understand me.
I will write more about my decision here: https://t.co/k0jonYuApm pic.twitter.com/7GPy4lRRFO– Petr Hladík (@hladikpe)

Instead of Hladík, Anna Hubáčková now seems to be the most probable candidate. However, the senator from Hodonín did not confirm her candidacy for the head of the Ministry of the Environment. She wrote that she does not confirm her candidacy and at least Thursday cannot even discuss it, because she is not in the Czech Republic.
Jurečka said on Monday evening that, according to his information, the selection of candidates for the ministry is not closed on other parties of the five-party coalition. He reiterated that the people of the coalition had not yet agreed when the candidates would be published.
