For a new tenant, the median rent for one-room apartments (studios and one-room apartments) amounts to € 420 excluding charges, which constitutes a rent level slightly higher than that of 2019, for an equivalent average surface area of 27 m² .
T2 and T3 constituting 62% of private rental accommodation in the Toulouse agglomeration. For these two categories, the rent levels remain quite similar to those of 2019, with a median rent of € 500 / month excluding charges for T2 and € 635 / month excluding charges for T3. Here again, Toulouse city center is the most expensive sector, with rents decreasing with the distance.
For apartments T4 and more, the median rent reaches 830 € / month excluding charges. Tensions persist over these large housing units in the central areas of Toulouse, with goods that are rarer and sought after by both families and students (shared accommodation).
