The library of ten thousand volumes of the school in Nyíracsád is open to everyone
The library of Szent Piroska Greek Catholic Primary School in Nyíracsád has been expanded. The service is also accessible to the residents of the settlement.
The institution, which has been operating for 10 years, has more than three hundred children. After a prayer room, a kitchen and a sports field, they have now grown to a library of ten thousand volumes. The shelf system was provided by the Greek Catholic Diocese, and the books were provided by the Hierotheos Association with the help of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Hungarian National Treasury.
The library was consecrated by Archbishop Metropolitan Philip Kocsis. In his inaugural address, Vince Szalay-Bobrovniczky, Undersecretary of State for Civil and Social Affairs, said:
support for civil funds has quadrupled compared to previous years.
“In addition to the fact that the Civil Deputy State Secretariat of the Prime Minister’s Office is able to distribute a large amount of resources to civilians and non-governmental organizations, there is also a spiritual construction,” said Vince Szalay-Bobrovniczky.
