Prague has rules for planting trees and treating with water
Prask magistrt wants to unify and improve the method of planting alley trees and water treatment. For each of the towns, the city council has approved a set of rules that the city wants to bind its organizations, such as the Technical Administration of Communications (TSK), the Transport Company (DPP) or the Water Management Company (PVS). The documents are based on the city’s climate strategy.
According to the city, the trees in the urban environment are threatened by climate change and rising temperatures. In addition, various organizations, especially TSK, the city council and the city council, take care of the trees. “The result of this situation is the long-term unsustainable state of the tree,” the document said. The aim of the new rules is to establish a uniform method of planting and gossip, which would be as environmentally friendly as possible.
Deputy Mayor Petr Hlavek (for TOP 09) stated that the document is being replaced in large numbers by the existing trees, which often die due to poor access. Mayor Adam Scheinherr (Prague Sob) added that only TSK is in charge of 60,000 and 70,000 trees in the streets, which now values a complete passportization and design of the right tree for the next five years.
Deputy Mayor Petr Hlubuek (STAN) added that there was 100 million crowns in the summer budget of the city, which according to him is insufficient. According to Hlubuk, the budget should increase to 230 million crowns.
According to the approved document, the standards for the use of water are based primarily on the minimization of concreted areas, in which areas with permeable surfaces are to be created. There should then be planted greenery on the hundreds of buildings, which uses water and at the same time improves the environment and cools the city. As a rule, Dal has a building water drain to the greenery and its collection so that it can seep into the soil and not drain the sewer.
At the same time, according to Hlubuk, the rules stipulate on which municipal organizations the individual water management units have to walk from the building industry, which has so far been confusing. Jan Chabr, Councilor for Property (TOP 09), added that sometimes a situation arose where no one showed about the area and was completely gossip-free. Hlubuek added that the city would like to incorporate new standards into Prague’s building regulations in the future.
In both cases, the city wants to comply with the rules and ensure the first relations with its companies and other organizations. Cities do not succumb to their master’s projects.
Both documents are based on this year’s approved climate agreement, according to which the city will invest about 230 billion crowns by 6930 in 69 opmen to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the metropolis by 45 percent. The city committed itself to this in 2019. The master wants to obtain most of the necessary pensions from European funds. They fully criticized the opposition of the ODS and YES, according to them it is fully unrealistic and insufficiently prepared.
