Students at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, these three young musicians discover their love for the same music: bebop and hard bop. In 2016, they decide to form a trio under the direction of pianist Milan Verbist. Their repertoire consists of a mix of standards, hard bop songs and clean compositions. They have performed at events like the Jammin ‘Festival in Rome, Klara in the Singel, Apple Garden Jazz… Besides these more important stages, they have also performed numerous concerts in small bars and clubs. Some of Milan’s biggest influences are McCoy Tyner, Wynton Kelly, Phineas Newborn, Herbie Hancock…
