Gargle tests only with quantity limit
COV policy
After the excitement about out of print free PCR-Gurgel-Tests in numerous Spar branches, there is now the quantity restriction on the distribution to the population. 700,000 tests were picked up in two weeks, but only a fraction were used. The great mass is hoarded.
Private individuals would hoard the tests as well as hoteliers who would collect the kits for their future winter guests, according to insiders. There are many reports of such and similar cases. Now the company Novogenia wants to take countermeasures by producing these test kits and then evaluating them.
From now on there will be quantity restrictions per person, says managing director Daniel Wallerstorfer: “You first have to log into the system via the Internet, then you have 20 minutes and can pick up the tests at the checkout in the supermarket. Then you are locked for seven days and only then can you get kits again. “
Group spokeswoman pleads for a calm demeanor
The gargle tests are issued in Salzburg via municipal offices and, on the other hand, via Spar branches. There you could feel the anger of customers massively when there were no more kits. Because so much is being hoarded by others, says group spokeswoman Nicole Berkmann: “The same applies as when the first lockdown began a year and a half ago: the quieter you shop, the better the logistics chain works. The better we can deliver, and the easier it is for EVERYONE to get their test kit. “
Bottleneck ended according to the manufacturer
From now on, the bottleneck in the free gargle tests should come to an end. 60,000 test units, each with ten tests, have been ready for delivery since early Tuesday.
CoV requirements: Chamber of Labor demands more involvement
Because the PCR tests were not evaluated in time, the phones at the Salzburg Chamber of Labor (AK) are also getting hot. Many workers and employees could not go to work because of missing test results, says AK President Peter Eder. Affected people too.
