“Delta Guard” already has a revoked license – Bulgaria
The security company Delta Guard has already had its license revoked. This happened this week with a decision of the Director of the General Directorate of the National Police (GDNP) Stanimir Stanev, announcement “Free Europe” referring to information from the Ministry of Interior. The company claims that it is appealing the act in court and this stops its implementation
On October 27, a notice was published on the website of the Ministry of Interior, according to which the procedure for revoking the license of the security company began. And the reason for this is the fact that one of the partners was brought in as a defendant and did not fulfill his obligation to leave the company within 30 days.
The Ministry of Interior did not specify which partner and what he is accused of. Delta Guard is owned by Dimitar Spasov, known by the nicknames Mitko Karatista and Marin Rusev. It is understood from the documents in the Commercial Register that since October 19 Dimitar Spasov has been trying to leave the company by submitting the application for transfer of his share to Marin Rusev. This is also the date on which the Ministry of Interior started the procedure for revoking the license
“Free Europe” refers to unofficial information, according to which in May 2019 Spasov was accused in Burgas of self-government, carried out by force or threat. There is no official information about the case from the prosecutor’s office.
The security company posted on its Facebook account that they had appealed Stanev’s decision in court and would continue to operate until the ruling.
The name of “Delta Guard” was mentioned by Iliya Zlatanov in the investigation of the anti-corruption fund for the “Eight Dwarves”. There he said that the security guards of this company followed constantly and kept their business. Shortly afterwards, it became known that he did not allow anyone to visit the Izamet factories in Dupnitsa. At the end of August 2020, they released him. The company was also mentioned by the accused businessman Vasil Bozhkov, who is outside the country, according to whom Delta Guard guards were among the provocateurs of the anti-government protests.
