With Nòu, Ariège wants to mark its territory as far as Toulouse and beyond

The agrifood products from Ariège have for a few months a new territorial mark. Her name is No. Which means “9” in Occitan. It is also the number of the department and synonymous with novelty. Not to mention that pronounced in Occitan, it becomes “now”, that is to say ” now “ in English.
And now it’s just time for the brand to detail your projects. They are numerous and ambitious. Among them, there are in particular an “embassy” in Toulouse. It would be about creating in fact a store dedicated to Ariège in the Pink City. “A place of life, of exchange, a meeting space where you can find 100% Ariège farm and craft products, in all forms: raw in a store or cooked in the restaurant. And a dynamic and flexible area for promoting the territory will make it possible to liven up the place ”, detail the project leaders. She should open during 2023.
A dedicated store in Ariège
Another project, the “Corners”. You know it’s those special displays that you find in stores. Nòu thus wants to create sales areas reserved for its products, clearly identified. “They will be located in lodges, local shops or restaurants / inns. In all these spaces which welcome Ariège residents and tourists from all over the world and which will make it possible to promote the brand and its products ”, specifies the brand. This project should be successful during 2022.
Bigger, there will be a Nòu store in Ariège. A space of 70 m² conceived as a market, where one will find many farm and craft products Nòu. A model store should see the light of day end of 2022. Before, maybe, to try in the department …
An online grocery store
There is also the “Great hall”. This is the name given to the online grocery store that the brand wants to launch in 2023. A grocery store therefore accessible on the internet, for a delivery everywhere in France.
All of these projects have of course a cost. The brand therefore invites invest inside, in particular by becoming a partner of the Ariège Capital portfolio company. The minimum bet is € 10,000. Knowing that for the Nòu store in Ariège € 500,000 are necessary. For the Toulouse embassy, it will be necessary to raise between 1.5 and 2 million euros.
As a reminder, Nòu was born from an approach of the Ariège Chamber of Agriculture, which proposed to territorialized sectors, producer networks, agro-food players and communities to come together around a territorial Ariège-Pyrénées brand.
