The new bus line is already passing through the Bohnice psychiatry complex
The new line leads in the route Podhoří – Zoological Garden – Botanical Garden Troja – Kraków – Odra – Řepínská – Hospital Bohnice. In the area of the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital, in addition to the final stops of the Bohnice Hospital, five other stops have been established with the additional names of the Main Gatehouse, Central Therapy, Internal Medicine, Headquarters and the Za Plotem Theater.
Midibus is supposed to significantly shorten the distance between the hospital pavilions and public transport stops, from the existing ones it is more than 800 meters to some pavilions. The new line will be operated every day from 6:30 to 20 hours at half-hour intervals.
Lines with the operation of small buses with a length of seven to nine meters in Prague help to improve transport services, especially in the suburbs or where the classic bus does not pass due to the narrow streets. The area in Bohnice will not be the first hospital to which buses run. For example, line 166 passes through the hospital complex in Bulovka, line 194 then goes to the hospital Pod Petřínem.
“I firmly believe that the new line 235 will also become a used connection not only to the Bohnice hospital complex, but also to the Prague Botanical and Zoological Gardens. Limiting the widespread use of standard buses on weekdays is our limited passability in the gorge in Trojská Street above the intersection with U Trojského zámku Street and in the serpentines in K Bohnicím Street, “said DPP chief Petr Witowski.
