There were more than 70 participants in the second session of the basic course for Civil Protection volunteers which ended yesterday. The skills they have acquired allow them to be defined as “operational volunteers” and therefore can be activated in emergency scenarios. These new volunteers join those previously trained in the session at the end of September. But they won’t be the last. The training of all students following the recently expired call for enrollment will see its conclusion with the third and final edition of the course scheduled for next December. In total, there will be more than 180 new Civil Protection volunteers, including volunteers from Castello groups and voluntary associations.
The Civil Protection service once again expresses great satisfaction for the strong sensitivity and solidarity that the citizens of San Marino have wanted to offer. But the security agency also wants to thank the Emilia Romagna Region Social Security and Civil Protection Agency, the Coordination of civil protection associations in Rimini and the Fire Protection section of the San Marino civil police who are collaborating, with professionalism and passion, in the training course. of the San Marino volunteer.
