REPUBLIC OF SAN MARINO – The official presentation of the book “Magica Gilly” 50 magic games to become illusionists took place on Friday evening at the Titano theater in San Marino. Giuliana Flore, aka Magica Gilly, was born in France on April 16, 1996 of Italian parents, and returned to Italy at the age of two. Magica Gilly is a young illusionist with Down syndrome, daughter of Gabriel (a magician who is also very popular in Romagna and San Marino) who has been on the scene in half of Europe for over a day. He participated in 2012 in the French Championship of Magic where he was awarded the Special Jury Prize; has participated in the most important Spanish festivals sharing the stage with the most important stars of world magic. The book in question has a beautiful preface by Mago Forest, a well-known television face. It has also been published on Canale 5 at Striscia la Notizia and on Rai 3 by Fabio Fazio. For the occasion, Gilly performed in her classic ancient Chinese costume number that made her famous.
The event enjoyed the patronage of the Secretariat of State for Culture of the Republic of San Marino and saw the presence not only of children and families but also personalities from the entertainment world such as Carlo Faggi magician Fax from Milan, famous magician author of books and also an encyclopedia on magical art that also made a brief speech on stage. Forest who, in addition to greeting all those present in the theater room, wanted to apologize for the lack of presence due to commitments previously made and spoke of Gilly’s skill in her many performances in Italy and abroad for ten years. The book written by Magica Gilly, contains the practical explanation, with photos, of 50 sleight of hand that anyone can try their hand at doing them in private life to cheer up children and grandchildren.
