The Children’s Philharmonic, located in the very heart of the Philharmonie de Paris building, welcomes school groups from November 9, 2021. This new space offers kindergarten to CM2 students the opportunity to play, explore, d ‘listen, live and feel music. School teachers can organize school trips by reservation. The Children’s Philharmonic, intended for 4-10 year olds, offers young people the opportunity to discover the world of music and sounds. The installations were specifically designed for them and are accessible in a completely autonomous way, without the mediation of an adult, they had no prior musical knowledge. The course is made up of around thirty installations that can be handled alone or with others, an immersive studio and an experimental laboratory. You can wander freely through the five thematic spaces that appeal to both body and mind: “Forest of sounds”, “Sound machines”, “On stage! “,” Voices by the thousands “,” This way the music “. Exploration notebooks are available for school teachers wishing to prepare for the visit beforehand or to deepen it through fun activities to do in class. Each notebook has a games section that invites children to summarize the knowledge acquired. Currently, four documents of about twenty pages each are available: “Discovering sound, pulsation and rhythm” for the small and medium section of kindergarten, “Telling a story with noises” for the Large section and CP, “The voice in all its states” from CP to CE2, “The symphonic orchestra” for CM1 and CM2.
