Hygienic inspections Prague: Two restaurants are awaiting administrative proceedings
From Monday, November 1, according to new anti-epidemic measures, restaurant staff must check that their guests have a certificate of vaccination, covid-19 in the last six months or a valid negative test. After the announcement of the new measures, the chief hygienist Pavla Svrčinová announced that she would have a general inspection at the end of the week.
She had previously said that normally hygienists and police do 1,200 to 1,500 checks a week. According to her, inspectors are often indiscriminately attacked by guests and operators of inspected facilities. After the first wave of inspections on Thursday, the hygienists said that they did not find too many mistakes in the restaurants, but the operators complained that the traffic had dropped their attendance as I would find out.
Prior to the introduction of the obligation to check infectivity by operators of restaurants and similar establishments, visitors themselves had a document to present during the inspection. On the last Friday in October, Prague hygienists will visit music clubs in the city center. They checked 213 people in three facilities, five of whom did not have a document. Block fines were imposed on them on the spot.
Violation of the regulation can result in heavy fines, up to three million crowns in administrative proceedings. With a block fine on the spot, they are lower, but they can still go into the thousands of crowns. Both establishments and operators can get them. At the same time, inspections can also cover, for example, indoor sports grounds, as people should also prove infectivity at them, and they should keep their spacing during group lessons.
Control in the cinema Jan Zázvorka
In one of the bars in the center of Prague, an inspection of compliance with anti-epidemic measures took place. Prague hygiene employees handed out several fines to people who did not have proof of infectivity.
