Every year at this time, Hitrádio City 93.7 FM distributes and helps. There is a charity project here again this year “You will light up Prague with us”. Although the previous pre-Christmas period corresponded to other and ordinary things that were part of our lives, either disappeared completely or were limited, this year the Christmas atmosphere and the traditional way of holding the Light up Prague with us project will hopefully succeed better.

Like previous years, this year the listeners of Hitrádia City will be able to contribute to a good cause in the run-up to Christmas. For example, a symbolic amount through donor DMS. This year, the radio is supported by the Pupendo Endowment Fund and little Toník, whose costly biological treatment could help fight brain damage, causing poor motor development, bilateral hearing loss, communication disorders and borderline autism. O Pupendo Endowment Fund

The aim and goal of the Pupendo Endowment Fund is to make the public aware of the possibility of preserving umbilical cord blood, umbilical cord and placenta. These tissues still contain undifferentiated cells that can help children, family, or relatives, but also in the population in general, due to their completely unique properties. Simply put – umbilical cord blood can save a life or improve the quality of life of the seriously ill.
A unique way to be prepared for sudden health complications or conditions is to preserve your own umbilical cord blood. It is a very undemanding act, not burdensome and completely safe, not endangering either the mother or the child and not affecting the course of childbirth. Originally biological waste can easily become a “box” of hope and unsuspected possibilities.
Currently, one in four children has an illness. Allergies, autism, cancer (up to 350 children a year!), Neuromuscular diseases, autoimmune diseases, childhood diabetes, congenital metabolic defects and more. The practices of modern medicine can improve the condition of patients, but the goal is to cure them.
Often, where the possibilities of conservative procedures (antibiotics, cytostatics, hormones) end, biological treatment begins. One of the most progressive treatment options is the use of umbilical cord blood or umbilical cord tissue.

How to do it?

Just write DMS, ie a donor SMS in the form: DMS BULB 30 or DMS BULB 60 or DMS BULB 90, depending on the price you choose. Send your DMS to 87777. The price of DMS 30 is 30, 60 or 90 crowns. The charity Life for Children, through which you can contribute to Toník, will receive CZK 29, 59 or 89 in advance.

A simple guide on how to develop a sponsor, you get to send a light bulb in an SMS message briefly to your mobile phone.
Then just enter the appropriate code and the light bulb will light up. You can also subscribe to the list of all donors and send a message to others.

Can’t send a DMS? The options are QR codes!

Some of us have corporate mobile tariffs and often blocked the possibility of sending DMS. Therefore, QR codes are an alternative, which you can load with almost any mobile banking application. The amount is then sent from the bank account.
