Felt animals from Salzburg “save” street children in Peru
Students from the Musisches Gymnasium in Salzburg created the animals. They should reward nun godparents who support street children.
24 felt animals are waiting at home at the Salzburg art teacher Edith Brandstätter to do something good for the desperately poor street children from Peru. For months, fantasy creatures have been dying, snuggled together in a box. There are, for example, the overturning weasel Frida, the green-spotted dinosaur Peppo, the jungle rock Brocko and the desert goat Fennek. They were created in autumn 2019 by students from the Musisches Gymnasium in Salzburg during Brandstätter’s lessons in textile design
