Ottawa is taking part in Saturday’s competition after a 21-6 loss to Sterling College on Saturday. OU had 171 yards of attack, 147 yards through the air and 24 yards of rushing. Sterling finished the game with 131 yards on the ground and 140 yards passing for 271 yards of offense.
OU has not played Bethany since 2019. The Swedes did not complete their football schedule for 2020 due to Co-VID19.
The Braves will honor 20 seniors before the game on Saturday. They are Jaylin King, Eugene Sainterling, Jermaine Ziegler, Cory Jones, Michael Corrales, Deion Williams, Dylan Foos, Devin Johnston, Reese Jones, Colby Johnson, Oscar Palacios, Arnold Mendoza, Jordan Hopson, Eddie Taylor, Greg McMahon, Desmond Doles, Jacob Garcia, Bryce Capron, Aaron Schoemann and Jonathan Ward.
The Braves’ offense averages 275.9 yards per game, 122.4 yards rushing and 153.5 yards of passes. Ottawa scores 23.7 points per game.
The OU defense allows 391.7 yards of attacks per game, 216.3 on the ground and 175.4 through the air. The opponents score 26.5 points per match against the OU defense.
