The Institute for Social Security communicates the update of COVID-19 infections and the progress of the vaccination campaign, in San Marino, recorded in the last week from 1st – 7th November 2021(data updated at midnight yesterday).

The total number of infected people identified since the beginning of the pandemic until midnight yesterday is 5,598 of which: 67 active positives (average age 38 years, 31 females and 36 males), 92 deaths and 5,439 recoveries.
Four people were hospitalized, including one in intensive care; while 63 people follow at home. There are 45 people in home quarantine.
The total swabs performed are 85,265, of which 26,365 on individuals.
In the last week 1163 swabs were performed, compared to 32 new cases (positivity rate on a weekly basis at 2.75%) and 49 recoveries.
The table below summarizes the trend of the last few weeks relating to the swabs carried out, the total number of new positive cases found, the percentage of new positives in relation to the total number of swabs and recoveries.
The total number of vaccinations registered in San Marino from the beginning of the Campaign until yesterday is 48,253, of which 23,106 people vaccinated with the first dose and 25,060 with the second dose or with the single dose. 87 people received the booster dose. 51.4% of the vaccinated are female and 48.6% are male. 82.90% of the vaccinable population completed the immunization cycle.
