Charlene back in Monaco: moving reunion with Albert and the twins
Princess Charlene is back in Monaco! After being stranded in South Africa for health reasons since last spring, the wife of Prince Albert landed this Monday morning at Nice airport, before returning to the Principality.
After long months of absence, Princess Charlene landed on the tarmac of the Monaco heliport this Monday, November 8, after a stopover in Nice. According to our colleagues from Monegasque morning, Prince Albert and his children, Jacques and Gabriella, warmly greeted her with a bouquet of flowers. A moving reunion when the princess appeared with brown hair. And surprise! In his suitcases, Jacques and Gabriella’s mother a reported a dog! This should delight his twins.
Charlene of Monaco left South Africa on Sunday evening aboard a private jet from Durban to the German newspaper Photo. The information was confirmed by a spokeswoman for the royal family: “The princess is in a good mood and can’t wait to get home!”
A return announced by Prince Albert of Monaco on October 27 in the columns of the American tabloid People. Charlene’s husband said the princess would return to Monaco before the national holiday of November 19. During this interview, the prince even expressed the hope that his wife could accompany him on an official trip earlier in the month. He has indeed specified that she could follow him in Dubai for the World Expo which opened on October 1.
The green light from his doctor
Charlene of Monaco had been stuck in South Africa since last spring, due to an ENT infection requiring several operations. According to our German colleagues, last Monday, his doctor authorized him to join the Principality of Monaco, after a last exam. To hold out, the mother of the family has chained the visio with her two toddlers. If Jacques and Gabriella were able to visit their mother last June with their father, all three had to return to Monaco.
After long months of separation, the princess will be able to reunite with her husband and her twins, Jacques and Gabriella, 7 years old. While awaiting the return of their mother, for Halloween, Prince Albert of Monaco had their children enjoy the attractions of Europa Park, before joining the Scottish city of Glasgow with them, on the occasion of the Cop 26.
