A sleeping man was stolen by a dog in the subway. After four days, people found the animal injured
The owner lost his dog on the metro line C between Chodov and Muzeum stations at the end of August, but the police were unable to find the suspect and his companion, so they now turned to the public for help in identifying them.
According to criminalists, the trio took advantage of a situation where the owner of the dog was sleeping. “In an unguarded moment, they cut off the leash on which he had a cross between a Prague rat and a German pinscher tied,” police spokeswoman Violeta Siřišťová informed about the case on Monday, adding that the trio performed with the animal at the Museum.
“Four days after the theft, the dog was found injured by a hitherto unknown find in Riegrovy sady in Prague 2, when he could not step on his hind legs,” the spokeswoman specified.
The circumstances of the police finding did not approach. During the investigation, according to the spokesman, the police found on the records of security cameras in the subway men who knew the dog with two other men.
