Milk intolerance is growing in San Marino, but not because lactose intolerance is on the rise, but because of the situation of “milk made in San Marino” on which hearts are heating up on the Titan. A post on the FB group “San Marino responds” in which a citizen does not point out that he has purchased a package of milk with the “Coop. Agricola Latte Sammarinese ”, but with the wording – obviously on the back – which indicates Italy as the origin of the milk. The cryptic indication of the plant – IT 03 364 – hides nothing but the Centrale del Latte di Brescia, which for years has been the more or less hidden supplier of the Centrale del Latte di San Marino. In fact, long-life milk, the one with the pink label, has always been the one from Brescia, even if it costs almost 1.50 euros against about 80 cents of the same branded “Centrale del Latte di Brescia”. Small tricks that have probably been enough over the years to attract all those San Marino people willing to buy more willingly a product if “made in San Marino (…)
