Mou wants “gifts”. And it’s all about Bereszynski
The Pole of Sampdoria to reinforce the right lane
The request is clear: a midfielder and a right-back. Mourinho – who on the day of his arrival had moreover asked for “gifts” from the club – was very direct with the Friedkins and Tiago Pinto, convinced that his limping Rome, fresh from eight goals scored in two games by Bodo Glimt, serves an important intervention on the market in January. And the name he likes most of all on the right wing is that of the 29-year-old Pole from Sampdoria, Bartosz Bereszynski. A full-back not “old ways”, who likes to push a lot and with a good personality. The Portuguese considers him an expert player, a characteristic that asks in the search for reinforcements to put in a group that is made up of many boys without too much hair on the stomach.
Bereszynsky is the owner of the Polish national team, has character and would come running to the capital as an alternative to Karsdorp who, in fact, has no substitutes (Reynolds is not considered by Mou and will go on loan in January). The player has a contract with Sampdoria which expires in 2023, and in the repair window Roma could take him for a figure of around 6-7 million euros, also given the excellent relations with the Genoa club, to which, last summer, the Giallorossi have loaned the attacking winger Riccardo Ciervo. The discourse between clubs could therefore start on the passage of other young people on the Rome-Genoa road, see Darboe, with Sampdoria open to dialogue. Meanwhile, still on the subject of full-backs, Vina, struggling with a slight distortion, will not be called up by Uruguay in the next stop of the championship. He writes it The Republic.
