GRAND AVIGNON Grand Delta habitat shows what it can do
The social landlord Grand Delta habitat, based in Avignon but which has part of its park in the Gard, organized this Friday a major tour to discover its heritage. The opportunity to show new or rehabilitation projects to the press and partners.
The two Gard stages out of six of this tour concluded a designated day to show “With our administrators, to the representatives of the State in Gard and Vaucluse who support us in all these projects and to our bankers where the money allocated and the trust granted” were used, explains the president of Grand Delta habitat Michel Gontard.
First stop in the Gard in Pujaut, at the Clos Joseph residence, 14 intergenerational accommodation in the heart of the village, inaugurated last year. “A little gem”, for Michel Gontard, who takes the opportunity to salute the involvement of the municipality in this project. “This operation was carried out perfectly with Grand Delta habitat, which listened to the municipality, because if there is one municipality attentive to its development, it is Pujaut”, underlines Mayor Sandrine Soulier.
The town hall had preempted this land in the village center, close to shops and schools. “And we will reiterate voluntarily, the local urban plan is being drawn up, and we will carry out social housing”, adds the mayor.
Then head to Les Angles, for a visit to the La Buissonnière residence, delivered last September and not yet inaugurated. The discreet residence has 23 apartments, behind a school in the city. It belongs “Operations which bring us satisfaction, which are desired by the communities and which correspond to expectations and requirements”, notes Michel Gontard.
In particular to those of Grand Avignon, where the Vice-President for Housing emphasizes that the projects visited “Corresponding to the local housing program set up in the Agglomeration. “ And this while, she recalls, the Agglo being straddling the Vaucluse and the Gard, “It is not easy to work with two departments, two regions and two prefects, but we manage to do a good job. “
“We are very proud of this achievement”, affirmed the first assistant of the Angles Martine Faucon, welcoming in passing the “Very good collaboration” between the municipality and the social landlord. It will not be too much, in Les Angles as in Pujaut, which are part of the Gard communes lacking in social housing.
