Pedestrians hit, two cases of fatal road accident in court
ANTONIO FABBRI – The first case, discussed yesterday morning, is the one that saw Alessandro De Ales, a 69-year-old originally from Pesaro and resident in Modena, hit on the pedestrian crossing at Dogana, on the descending carriageway near the state border. The man, who was the director of Bioagrotech, a San Marino company specialized in fertilizers, was hit by a truck and two days later, from his injuries, died at the Bufalini hospital in Cesena.. Instead, the second case discussed yesterday afternoon ended with the conviction of the accused. The fatal accident is the one that saw Teresa Rosti hit in the Bargello road in Faetano, on October 28, 2018. The old woman was crossing near her home when the car driven by a woman hit her. From his injuries he died shortly after admission. (…) The commissioner of the law Roberto Battaglino sentenced the driver to six months, with the legal benefits of the suspended sentence and no mention in the criminal record, in addition to the payment of court costs.
