But let’s not spoil more than what the director general of the Titan Games, Salvatore Caronia, to take stock of what players will find at the beginning of the year in the Serravalle gaming structure.
“Yes, I confirm, we will have an area dedicated exclusively to the tournament where 80 tables reserved for the IPO will be located, for the tournament phase, while it is equally true that for the cash game which will have dedicated the entire Gt Poker room with over 20 tables available. – Salvatore Caronia explains – moreover, we felt the further need to open other spaces to manage the flow of people in moments of pause, relaxation and food and drink “.
They will be new spaces for those who know the structure of Gt Poker but where will they be obtained? “The venue will be used temporarily for this event but we have also acquired it for the future. It is not a definitive structure for what we have in our projects. This is the former Maranello Rosso Museum that many will remember at the lower entrance of the structure where the Titan Games is also located and which we acquired and recovered and took over temporarily. All tournaments and live satellites will be played in these spaces, therefore ”.
The organizational effort is massive: “We are working very hard to equip these areas so that a correct balance is maintained that is able to respect the comfort for the player. Also at an economic level the commitment is important since we will have to integrate tables, chairs and everything will have to be in line with the image of Gt Poker but there are also many things to fix to bring the whole area, systems, exits of emergency exits and many other things that make a great effort to commit ”.
And that’s not all: “In addition to the play areas, there will be other spaces that we are arranging in view of the January 2022 event – continues CEO Caronia – a space will be dedicated to the cash management phase and for registering for tournaments and yet another area to food. and drink, in short, for refreshments “.
It will be a crazy commitment that will put a strain on the structure and organization of Gt Poker: “For us it is a commitment not only in terms of investments but also in terms of personnel. Beyond the dealers (there will also be an area dedicated to employees, Ed) who will be between 130 and 140 expected for such an event and these people will also go on break and smoke and take into account their comfort and the flows that will generate. We will also have a significant deployment of operational staff at the checkouts and offers to offer the best possible performance to the players ”.
And Covid-19? Obviously we reiterate that neither the Green Pass nor any other document will be needed to enter the room but the health protocols remain: “Unfortunately, the virus still exists and we must maintain the principles we have been using for months and that is the frequent hand sanitation and the maintenance of the obligation of protection to avoid any kind of difficulties arising. This is also a room that prompted us to find larger rooms both for the play area and for the food area and for the services to the players ”.
And then, these spaces, after the January IPO? “In the meantime – concludes Salvatore Caronia – we hope that the first will be a success like the others so we will try to promote another one over the next year. But we believe that some events will be played in those spaces in the coming months. However, the work we are doing is designed for something even more important and for other objectives ”.
