There are massive congestion in the evening traffic in and around the city of Salzburg. An accident on the A1 West Autobahn in the direction of Linz could have exacerbated the situation.
An accident occurred today in the evening rush hour between the Bergheim-West junction and the Messe. According to the police, there were massive congestion. The scene of the accident was cleared again at around 5:20 p.m., and traffic has been able to flow freely again since then.
However, the streets in and around the state capital were congested in the evening. Alone on the B156 you lost up to 40 minutes of time. Getting ahead on Vogelweiderstraße and Plainstraße as well as the Münchner Bundesstraße was just as difficult.
