Adorning the city of Toulouse with a thousand sparkles for Christmas is no small task, so the municipality is doing it in advance as it does every year. While the feast of the nativity will be announced in a little less than two months, we can already see, here and there, the first decorations. Thus, the trees bordering the ramblas are already adorned with illuminations that only ask to sparkle in the night, when the time comes.
Note that the installation of the installations began on October 10 and until Christmas to pose some 450 patterns and several kilometers of garlands.
This beautification of the city mobilizes ten agents.
The “simple” patterns are placed first, follow the garlands in the city center, on emblematic places of Toulouse and in neighborhood districts during the month of November.
This year, the municipality of Toulouse has chosen to homogenize the colors of the trees between the neighborhoods and the city center. They will be adorned with green, red and gold.
On the occasion of Christmas, no less than 10 km of garlands will be deployed throughout the city. For 10 years, the latter have operated with LEDs instead of bulbs that consume much more energy and are reported.
The feast of the nativity giving pride of place to children, they will be delighted since three Santa Claus will be installed in the city: one on the Place du Capitole and the other two at the Purpan hospital.
