The defending champion of the French title will finish in the final tournament of the Billie Jean King Cup in the basic group. After the initial unexpected loss to the Canadian tennis players in Prague today, they needed to beat Russia 3-0 to advance, but they lost 1: 2.
In the opening duel, Clara Burelová managed to turn the duel with Ekaterina Alexandrovová and won the three-hundredth battle 3: 6, 6: 4, 6: 3, but Alizé Cornetová cannot be followed up in the second match. In the duel of team ones against Anastasia Pavlyuchenko, she won the first set 7: 5, but the other two won the world twelve 6: 4, 6: 2.
